For more than a decade Mr. Mossberg, creator and author of Personal Technology that runs Thursdays in the Journal, has set the pace for quality coverage of personal technology. He has been hailed the most influential journalist writing about computers by Marketing Computers, Upside, Brill's Content and Time magazines. In 1999, he received the Gerald Loeb Award for Commentary. Mr. Mossberg, 54, joined the Journal in 1970 and is based in the Journal's Washington, D.C., office. He is a contributing editor to Smart Money and appears on CNBC.
